GreenWood started business in 2004. We design and supply GreenWood sheds, barns, cattle yards, farm bridges, Small Homes, Cabins and other products right across New Zealand.

In several regions of NZ, GreenWood is the largest distributor of pole sheds. GreenWood has sold thousands (literally) of farm sheds NZ-wide from several distribution centres located throughout New Zealand. The location of our distribution centres, economies of scale and our highly efficient & effective supplier network enables us to service all NZ very competitively.

While we are a national company, in most cases we source products for our clients from their local, in region suppliers and manufacturers we have relationships with. We feel this is important to support your local industry and we are proud to have some very long-term relationships with suppliers across the country.

We always price our GreenWood products particularly competitively. We are not into so-called “Specials” as we are committed to low every-day pricing for our clients. Enjoy.

After studying at Lincoln University, I then travelled overseas for 3 years. On returning back to NZ, I worked for three companies involved in wood products and building design using timber and engineered wood products over the following 8 years. I was brought up on a farm 15km north of Gisborne, and with a farming and business background started GreenWood in 2004. Since then we have built a strong business largely thanks to a great team employed in the business coupled with a clear purpose and vision. Our supplier network, including many builders we have developed strong relationships with, are the platform from which we offer of products and services, and we are entirely appreciative of their ongoing support and energy.

Outside work, I enjoy my family and friends, and getting outdoors to have all sorts of fun, and sports and exercise.
